The City of Ankeny is accepting applications for the fulltime position of Utilities Operator - Wastewater in the Municipal Utilities Department.
Starting salary for fiscal year 2024, plus excellent benefits:
- Utilities Operator Assistant - $24.82 per hour with no certifications.
- Utilities Operator I - $27.58 per hour with a Grade I operator's certificate issued by the State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in a wastewater related field or the Iowa Water Environment Association (IAWEA).
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM with additional on-call/overtime hours as needed.
