MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

About the Committee

The Membership Committee shall be composed of as many members as possible with the Committee Chair being appointed by the Section Chair.

Duties of the Membership Committee include:

• Recruit and retain membership
• Make a presentation to each regional meeting on the benefits of membership and provide application forms
• Contact members whose membership has lapsed to attempt to retain them
• Prepare a written annual report to be presented at the annual meeting. As a minimum, the report should contain:

1. Beginning and ending membership status
2. A status report containing the reason(s) for non-renewal of memberships
3. Committee accomplishments and recommendations
