Advertise with AWWA-IA!

Advertising on the Iowa Section AWWA website is a benefit to both your organization and the Iowa Section! Advertising on our website gives your company visibility to water professionals throughout the State and creates a link between the Section and your organization in the minds of our members and website visitors.

In addition, your support as a Website Sponsor helps the Section fulfill its vision of being the "Leading Force in Iowa Dedicated to Safe Drinking Water" by providing a means for the Section to improve communications among our members and provide important information to assist them in making informed decisions. Sponsor advertisement fees received go to covering costs associated with website hosting.

All organizations wishing to become a Website Sponsor or to renew an existing sponsorship must submit a sponsor application to the AWWA-IA office. The Website Sponsor application may be completed on-line or downloaded and emailed or mailed to the AWWA-IA office.

Following approval of your application, you will receive an email with instructions for submitting payment and your company's graphic. Sponsors opting to pay by credit card will be emailed a link to a secure online payment form. Checks submitted with mail-in applications will not be cashed until the applications have been approved. Any applicant that is denied sponsorship will have their check returned to them uncashed.
After the company graphic and payment are received, an email will be sent to the company's representative notifying them of the date the advertisement will be posted to the Sections website. The start date of sponsorship begins on the first day the advertisement is posted to the website. Advertisement graphics must comply with the requirements listed below.

  • Each sponsoring organization will be allowed one business card-type graphic. The graphic should include the company name and logo. The graphic will be linked to the sponsoring organization's website if a web address is provided.

  • The graphic shall be approximately 300 pixels wide by 200 pixels high and must be in JPG, BMP, or PNG format. No Macromedia or other animated graphics will be accepted. Any graphic that interferes with the operation of website will be removed.

  • Only electronic copies of the graphic will be accepted. Company graphics must be emailed to the Iowa Section office at [email protected].

As a general rule, sponsor advertisements should provide goods or services that are directly related to the drinking water industry. The determination of whether a sponsoring organization meets this requirement will be made by the Public Information Committee.
The Section reserves the right to deny sponsorships that are not consistent with, or uphold, the Mission, Vision and Values of the Section or would in any way threaten the integrity of the Section.
The Section will accept as many sponsor advertisements as space allows and space will be reserved on a first-come first-serve basis. The Section reserves the right to limit the number of advertisements accepted and, in the event demand for advertisement space exceeds available space, give preference to organizations that are members of AWWA or have employees that are individual members.
