Welcome Reception Join IA-AWWA at The Fort overlooking the 17,000-seat Wells Fargo Arena – home to the Iowa Wolves, the Iowa Barnstormers, and the Iowa Wild. You’ll enjoy drinks, appetizers, and views of the Iowa State Capitol, the East Village, and the Des Moines River while reconnecting with colleagues.
Those arriving by car should park in the lot accessed from 5th Street at the NW corner of the Community Choice Convention Center and enter through the NW Convention Center doors. Those walking from the Hilton should take the 3rd Street Skywalk north to the Iowa Events Center. Directional signage to The Fort at Wells Fargo Arena will be posted within the Events Center.
