The City of Sioux City is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pretreatment Manager to lead our efforts in managing and enforcing the City of Sioux City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) industrial pretreatment program. Some of these programs include:
- industrial pretreatment,
- FOG (fat, oil, and grease)
- other environmental compliance programs
This position ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations while protecting the City’s wastewater and stormwater systems. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage permitting processes, maintain regulatory compliance, and support industrial, commercial, and residential users within the City.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, wastewater treatment, or industrial pretreatment, with proven leadership experience to supervise and develop a dedicated team.
Under the general direction of the WWTP Manager, manages the administrative and operational activities involved in the City of Sioux City's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) industrial pretreatment program.
