The position works under general supervision responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of facilities of the municipal Water Division consistent with EPA and Iowa DNR requirements; provides maintenance and repair functions related to water production, treatment and distribution systems. Minimum training and experience include Grade I Water Treatment Plant Operators Certification issued by the Iowa DNR, Commercial Drivers License with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements issued by the Iowa DOT or the ability to get Certification and License.
