The City of Oakland has a full-time opening for Public Works Labor I. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Need general knowledge of street maintenance, water treatment and distribution system maintenance, and sewer maintenance; working knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance and repair (i.e. skid loader, dump truck, backhoe, hydrostatic mower); ability to follow written and oral instructions; must be able to obtain Grade I water, Grade I wastewater and Emergency Medical Technician certifications within one year of employment.
Will be required to be in an on call rotation. Salary negotiable based on qualifications. EOE
