Join IA-AWWA and IAWEA for a day of friendly volleyball, delicious burgers, and community connection while supporting the development of our future water/wastewater workforce!

Registration begins at 8 am; tournament play kicks-off at 9 am. Refreshing watermelon will be available all day, and the burger and lunch buffet will open at approximately 1 pm, after tournament play concludes and the 2025 champions have been declared.

This fundraiser is by and for the water industry, but your family and friends are welcome, too! Net funds will be donated to FRESHwater, a weeklong summer research and educational experience held at Iowa State University for high school students exploring careers in the water/wastewater field.

 PLAY | Volleyball teams will be comprised of 5-8 players; you may register either as a complete team ($250) or as an individual ($50). You must register by Friday, July 18.

SPONSOR | Businesses can show their support for FRESHwater and connect with IA-AWWA and IAWEA participants as an event sponsor ($250), the championship match sponsor ($150), a court sponsor ($100), or a watermelon sponsor ($75).

VOLUNTEER | Even if volleyball isn't your thing, you can be a part of the fun while volunteering to work registration, keep the water and watermelon flowing, tend the grill, or referee a court (training will be provided).

DONATE | Whether or not you participate in Bumps & Burgers, your donation for FRESHwater is gladly accepted.

*IA-AWWA reserves the right to cancel or modify this event due to inclement weather or emergency. No refunds will be made for cancellation or modification. In the case of inclement weather, the planning committee will endeavor to provide an alternate indoor activity, such as a pickleball tournament, for the scheduled date and time. The event will not be rescheduled.
