The City of Cedar Rapids Utilities Department is hiring a Utilities Construction Manager I or II to oversee construction of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, including improvements made at the City’s two drinking water treatment plants, the water pollution control facility, elevated storage tanks and booster pump stations, raw water mains and wells, and associated systems as needed such as water distribution mains, as well as site improvements. This role manages contracts, inspections, and field coordination to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery. As a key point of contact between the City, contractors, and consultants, you’ll help shape vital infrastructure that serves our community.
