The City of Ankeny is accepting applications for a new fulltime position as Utilities Operator - Water Division in the Municipal Utilities Department. The Utilities Operator will perform and participate in unskilled and semi-skilled work as related to the operations and maintenance of Municipal Utilities facilities, water distribution system, sewer collection system.
Starting salary, plus excellent benefits:
- Utilities Operator Assistant - $26.33 per hour with no certifications.
- Utilities Operator I - $29.25 per hour with a Grade I Water Treatment or Water Distribution operator certificate issued by the State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
Hours are Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM with additional on-call/overtime hours as needed.
