Under the direction of the Board of Water Works Trustees, manages and directs the utility towards its mission to provide Water You Can Trust for Life to more than 600,000 central Iowans.
The Board is seeking a strong, experienced professional leader and manager. The CEO will be achievement-oriented, a doer and a problem solver – someone who can anticipate the future and position the Utility in a way that it can take advantage of opportunities. He/she will be flexible and creative, seeking the best solution even if innovative and nontraditional.
