West Des Moines Water Works is now accepting applications for a Civil Engineer I/II (Water Production). Successful candidates for Civil Engineer I will have one-year experience in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, design work and/or construction. This position is supervised by the Superintendent and will be responsible for assisting with planning, design and construction of water infrastructure. Successful candidates for the Civil Engineer II will have four years in civil engineering, drafting, surveying, design work and/or construction management and will also have their Iowa Professional Engineering license. This recruitment has only one open position that will be hired at the Civil Engineer I or II level depending on qualifications.
