Water Treatment Plant Operator

The Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for performing specialized duties in the operation of the city's water treatment plant. The successful candidate must possess or be able to readily obtain a valid Class B Commercial driver's license with Tanker and Airbrake endorsements with the State of Iowa. A Grade II Water Treatment License must be obtained within 36 months from the date of hire. Residency is required within a 30-mile drive of the worksite, established within 60 days of the completion of a six-month probationary period. This job will be posted until filled.
